How to Setup RipCord

Execute Daily: Will automatically run RipCord at the time selected.
Local Admin User: If you are backing up files owned by other users entering your admin user for your computer will allow you to backup as the root user.
Keep old files for: How many versions of changed files you would like to keep on the backup server.
Limit data rate to: If you would like to limit the upload bandwidth enter it here otherwise enter “0”.
Follow these instructions to setup RipCord
With RipCord open click the “Setup” button.
The only settings needed are the ones circled below.
Next click on the “Backup” button and select what folders you would like to backup.
Finally click on save and then click on the “Backup” button to run your first backup.
